Advocacy and Law Enactment / Amendment
Background
CWLF began our work with a focus on legislative reform, dedicating ourselves to advocating for the rights and well-being of children. Over the years, we have consistently provided recommendations on Taiwan’s child welfare laws, policies, and systems. Through persistent advocacy, we have raised public awareness of child-related issues and successfully driven significant policy and legislative changes.
To strengthen our influence, we established the Policy Advocacy Center in August 2016. Through policy monitoring, law reform, strategic alliances, issue-based advocacy, and timely responses to current events, we actively engage in and address child-related issues.
